Job Summary

To support a multidisciplinary consulting team, the full-time salaried Geospatial Analyst II will analyze topographic lidar data, create automated classification algorithms, and produce digital mapping products, with opportunities for remote work based on experience.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage the initial processing and data classification of topographic and bathymetric lidar projects
  • Create scripts, models, and macros across multiple sensor platforms for data processing
  • Perform quality assurance and quality control on processed data to meet accuracy and qualitative standards
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in the GIS/Remote Sensing field or equivalent education and experience
  • Experience in elevation data processing and remote sensing QA/QC
  • In-depth knowledge of ESRI's ArcGIS products and various raster and vector data types
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, especially MS Office
