Geospatial Analyst III

Job Summary

To support a multidisciplinary consulting team, the full-time salaried Geospatial Analyst III will focus on analyzing topographic and topobathymetric lidar data, creating automated classification algorithms, and managing data processing for state and federal projects, with potential remote work options based on experience.

Key responsibilities

• Perform initial processing and data classification of topographic and bathymetric lidar projects
• Create scripts, models, and macros across multiple sensor platforms to enhance project execution
• Ensure data management protocols are met while collaborating with production staff to improve processes and quality control

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in GIS/Remote Sensing with a focus on point cloud classification and lidar processing
• Strong understanding of lidar production workflows and geospatial data concepts
• Experience with Terrasolid Products and MicroStation
• Proficiency in ESRI products, including ArcGIS 10x and ArcPro
