Geospatial Applications Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Geospatial Applications Engineer (REMOTE).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy, and support geospatial applications
• Develop ETL logic and process geospatial data using Python and related libraries
• Manage and maintain applications in AWS, ensuring scalability and reliability

Required Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency for at least 3 years to maintain a favorable Public Trust investigation
• Bachelor's Degree plus 4 years of relevant experience in software or applications engineering
• Strong proficiency in Python programming language
• Experience with GDAL and other open-source Python libraries for data processing
• Familiarity with AWS and DevOps practices, including CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
