A company is looking for a Geospatial Data Scientist to support the development of advanced geospatial analytics and machine learning capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop machine learning models using geospatial data such as satellite imagery and LiDAR
• Implement data pipelines to manage large spatial datasets from various sensors and platforms
• Perform exploratory data analysis and visualization using modern geospatial tools

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Remote Sensing, Environmental Science, Geography, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience applying machine learning to geospatial data
• Proficiency in Python and geospatial libraries like Rasterio, GDAL, and GeoPandas
• Familiarity with GIS tools such as QGIS or ArcGIS
• Experience with spatial databases and cloud-native workflows
