Job Summary

A company is looking for a Geospatial Database Administrator to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of geospatial databases.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, operate, and maintain geospatial databases and data storage solutions
• Monitor database performance, capacity, and availability to ensure optimal system functionality
• Support data integration, ingestion, and transformation across geospatial systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• 7+ years of experience managing and maintaining geospatial or database systems
• Experience designing, implementing, and managing geodatabases
• Experience with database management systems (DBMS) and data architecture
• Experience with scripting or automation for database maintenance (e.g., Python, SQL)
