Geospatial Operations Support Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Geospatial Production & Operations Support Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and support LANDFIRE operational workflows, including software/hardware planning and system maintenance
• Process, prepare, and manage raster and vector geospatial datasets, including QA/QC and metadata creation
• Provide user support and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure efficient production and delivery of geospatial products

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Geography, Geospatial Science, Computer Science, Environmental Science, or a relevant field
• 3-5 years of experience with geospatial data, production workflows, and spatial data processing in GIS
• Strong background in GIS analysis and handling complex geospatial workflows using ArcGIS Pro or QGIS
• Experience with QA/QC validation, metadata creation, and preparing data for distribution
• Ability to obtain and maintain a national agency check and background investigation for facility access
