Job Summary

Supporting the Department of Homeland Security, the full-time remote Geospatial Project Manager will provide programmatic support, manage large-scale geospatial data and application capabilities, and implement geospatial information technology solutions.

Key responsibilities:
  • Provide subject matter guidance and programmatic support to the DHS GMO on geospatial data management and coordination
  • Develop and implement plans and policies for managing geospatial information infrastructure requirements across various projects
  • Lead small teams and implement geospatial technology solutions while providing tactical recommendations to improve processes and outcomes
Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 12+ years of specialized GIS/Project Manager experience
  • Active PMP certification
  • Proficiency in managing teams using industry standards and methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall
  • Experience with geospatial information technology solutions in the context of homeland security and emergency management
