Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Geospatial Systems Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

Aggregate and ensure the availability of geospatial data for target regions
Research and assess open, public domain, and commercial data sources for quality and freshness
Develop and maintain tools for data preprocessing and postprocessing for AI/ML applications

Required Qualifications

Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent work experience
3+ years of relevant industry experience in a high-growth tech environment
Experience with open-source GIS libraries and tools, including PROJ and GDAL
Familiarity with GIS data modalities and formats such as GeoTIFF, LAS/LAZ, and ESRI Shapefiles
Basic scripting abilities, preferably in Python, for automation tasks
