Geotechnical Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Geotechnical Engineering Specialist (Retainer).

Key Responsibilities

• Review designs and technical specifications of infrastructure works to ensure consistency and integrity
• Provide technical advice during bidding processes and assess geotechnical design reports for compliance
• Support project execution through specialized assessments and technical guidance on geotechnical exploration campaigns

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering is required; a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related fields is acceptable with 7 years of relevant experience
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in geotechnical studies for infrastructure projects in Costa Rica is required
• Membership in the College of Engineers and Architects of Costa Rica (CFIA) is required
• Experience in infrastructure projects in Latin America and the Caribbean is desirable
• Proficiency in Spanish is required; English proficiency is desirable
