Job Summary
A company is looking for an English to German (Switzerland) Lyrics Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform linguistic quality assessments of translated audiovisual content from English to German
- Identify and correct linguistic errors, ensuring consistency in terminology and style
- Provide detailed feedback to translators and create quality reports
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA in linguistics, translation, musicology, or related fields
- 2+ years of work experience in translation, linguistic, or copy-editing
- Deep understanding of various music genres, especially Rock, Pop, and Hip-Hop
- Exceptional command of English and German languages
- Proven experience in translating lyrics or similar content
