Job Summary

Freelance Machine Translation Post-Editors with German will perform light and full post-editing on machine translation outputs, ensuring quality and accuracy while working remotely based on project needs.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure target text accurately reflects the source meaning and meets client specifications
• Provide corrections and optimizations based on machine translation outputs while adhering to post-editing guidelines
• Maintain high grammatical accuracy and consistency, correcting formatting, terminology, and cultural references as needed

Required qualifications

• Degree in Translation, Applied Linguistics, or equivalent experience
• Native German speaker with experience in Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE)
• Preferred experience in translation and proofreading within IT and Software domains
• Excellent command of English in comprehension and writing
• Familiarity with Translation Memory tools and Translation Management Systems (TMS)
