GIS Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a GIS Analyst to assist in the development of GIS applications by analyzing spatial and tabular data.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, compile, and analyze spatial and tabular data for GIS applications
• Update and maintain complex database information and provide GIS data to external customers
• Develop and publish GIS data, maps, and reports while ensuring system administration and quality control processes

Required Qualifications and Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Geography, GIS Technology, or Computer Science
• Minimum of five years of experience in GIS application development and support
• Experience with SQL and ESRI's software ecosystem (ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise)
• Experience in a project management role
• Proven organizational capabilities and eagerness to learn
