GIS Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a GIS Analyst to support their GIS team in the analysis, interpretation, and management of geographic data.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development, optimization, and maintenance of complex GIS databases and systems
• Conduct spatial analysis and geospatial modeling to support projects and organizational goals
• Design, update, and manage digital maps and GIS products, ensuring data integrity and accuracy

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geospatial Information Science, Urban Planning, or a related field
• Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or other GIS platforms
• Experience in spatial data analysis, including data manipulation and geospatial modeling
• Strong knowledge of spatial data formats (e.g., shapefiles, GeoJSON, KML)
• Intermediate understanding of database management systems (e.g., SQL, Postgres)
