Job Summary
To support the development of GIS applications, the full-time remote GIS Analyst GISP will collect, analyze, and maintain spatial and tabular data while providing GIS data and information to external customers.
Key responsibilities
- Collect, compile, and analyze spatial data to assist in GIS application development
- Update and maintain complex database information and publish GIS data, maps, and reports
- Provide GIS system administration and support client interactions for data sharing and analysis
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Geography, Environmental Studies, or Computer Science
- GIS Professional (GISP) certification required
- 4+ years of experience with the Esri software ecosystem, including ArcGIS Desktop and Online
- Experience in a project management role with strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in cartography standards and technical documentation writing
