Job Summary
To support the development of GIS applications, the full-time remote GIS Analyst GISP will collect, compile, and analyze spatial and tabular data, while also maintaining complex databases and providing GIS data to external customers.
Key responsibilities
- Collect, organize, and analyze spatial data to assist in GIS application development
- Update and maintain GIS databases, ensuring quality control and system administration
- Publish GIS data, maps, and reports, and provide customer service to external clients
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Geography, Environmental Studies, or GIS Technology
- GIS Professional (GISP) certification required
- 4+ years of experience with the Esri software ecosystem (ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise)
- Experience in project management and client interfacing
- Strong knowledge of cartography standards and GIS technical documentation
