GIS Application Developer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a GIS Application & Database Developer to design, develop, and maintain GIS tools, applications, and databases.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop GIS tools and applications to support analytical and mapping projects
- Perform complex geospatial analyses and create multi-layered maps using GIS applications
- Design and implement data conversion procedures for GIS databases
Required Qualifications
- Mid-Level: Minimum of six (6) years of experience in GIS and related development
- Senior-Level: Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in GIS and related development
- Proficiency in GIS concepts, computer graphics fundamentals, and relational database fundamentals
- Experience developing complex GIS analysis and mapping solutions
- Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in GIS, Geography, Cartography, Computer Science, or a related field with GIS experience
