GIS Application Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a GIS Application Engineer for a remote, contract opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide software development services for utility applications in collaboration with client project teams
• Utilize GIS software to create and extend GIS modules and tools, including custom extensions
• Develop and manipulate spatial data, maintain database accuracy, and participate in on-call support services

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, GIS, or related field; relevant experience may substitute for a degree
• 4+ years of related GIS experience
• Experience with ESRI GIS software
• Proficiency in Oracle and SQL Server databases
• Ability to multitask effectively in a multi-customer work environment
