GIS Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a GIS Consultant who will design targeted strategies for state and local government customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct needs assessments and gather business requirements from customer stakeholders
• Develop strategies for GIS optimization and assist with planning and implementation of solutions
• Collaborate with various teams and develop operational procedures and training materials

Required Qualifications

• Expertise in Utility Network implementations with hands-on technical experience preferred
• Knowledge of Esri ArcGIS products and experience in state and local government solutions
• Experience in project management and translating customer requirements into technology solutions
• Conceptual understanding of multi-tiered system architectures and network security measures
• Four-year degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, GIS, Geography, or related field
