GIS Data Manager
Job Summary
Leading the management of complex geospatial data environments, the full-time remote GIS Data Manager will establish data standards, oversee enterprise geodatabases, and ensure the quality and lifecycle management of GIS information.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead GIS data management activities across complex projects and technical environments
- Develop and maintain geospatial data standards, schemas, and metadata requirements
- Establish and enforce GIS data governance and lifecycle-management practices
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Systems, Geography, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible GIS or geospatial data-management experience
- Strong experience with ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, and enterprise geodatabases
- Experience managing large or complex spatial datasets across multiple users or organizations
- Demonstrated experience with GIS data governance, standards, and quality management
