Job Summary
Researching and resolving data exceptions, the full-time GIS Data Quality Specialist will analyze location-related records using GIS tools and SQL, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of geospatial data in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Research and resolve exceptions identified through automated data quality and exception management processes
- Analyze location-related records using GIS tools and SQL to validate data accuracy and support exception resolution
- Document research findings and maintain quality standards while processing a structured queue of tasks
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Geospatial Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in GIS, geospatial analysis, or data quality operations
- Proficiency in SQL for data investigation and validation
- Experience using GIS platforms such as ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, or QGIS
- Strong written documentation skills and ability to maintain quality standards in a structured environment
