GIS Developer
Job Summary
To support innovative geospatial projects, the full-time GIS Developer II will independently develop features, manage GIS data, and integrate services while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop geospatial applications using ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and front-end technologies like ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript with TypeScript
- Translate business requirements into technical designs and deliver client-ready solutions
- Support Agile/Scrum processes, managing sprint planning and collaborating with teams for timely project delivery
Required qualifications
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in GIS, geography, computer science, or a related field
- Two to five years of GIS development or closely related software experience
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript and solid Python skills
- Hands-on experience with ArcGIS Pro and either ArcGIS Enterprise or ArcGIS Online
- Experience with web development technologies such as React or Angular, HTML/CSS, and REST APIs
