GIS Developer

Job Summary

Responsible for the design, development, configuration, and deployment of Enterprise GIS applications, the full-time GIS Developer will work remotely to create and support web and desktop GIS solutions while collaborating with business stakeholders and providing escalated support for GIS products.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy GIS applications, ensuring they meet business requirements
• Provide escalated support for GIS products and solutions across the organization
• Collaborate with stakeholders and other GIS staff to gather business requirements and create solution designs

Required qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience with GIS applications, including ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Server
• Proficiency in SQL, HTML5, JSON, RESTful web services, ASP.NET, JavaScript, and scripting languages such as Python
• Experience in collecting business requirements and developing solution design and test plans for GIS applications
• Knowledge of spatial data management in SQL Server and ESRI's enterprise geodatabases
• Experience supporting federated ArcGIS Enterprise Architecture in AWS
