GIS Developer
Job Summary
Supporting the development and administration of enterprise GIS applications, the full-time GIS Developer will focus on ArcGIS Enterprise environments, developing web applications, dashboards, and data products while ensuring the stability and performance of GIS infrastructure, with a strong preference for candidates located in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
Key responsibilities
- Review and guide enterprise GIS system architecture, ensuring best practices for performance, scalability, and security
- Develop and maintain web-based GIS applications and solutions within the Esri ecosystem, including JavaScript applications
- Monitor system health and troubleshoot complex technical issues across enterprise GIS infrastructure
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in GIS, Computer Science, Geography, or a related field
- 2 years of experience deploying and administering Esri Enterprise software (ArcGIS Enterprise or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of ArcGIS Enterprise architecture (Portal, Server, Data Store, Web Adaptor)
- Experience with web technologies, including JavaScript and related frameworks for GIS applications
- Active TS and U.S. citizenship required
