GIS Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a GIS Director to manage a high-performing team of GIS professionals in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise GIS production, ensuring high-quality deliverables for clients and sales professionals
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve internal processes and deliver GIS solutions effectively
• Lead team development, performance management, and recruitment efforts for the GIS team

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geography or a related field, with 7+ years of relevant GIS experience
• Preferred Master's degree and at least 3 years in a supervisory role
• Experience in site selection for retail, industrial, or commercial real estate is prioritized
• Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP) certification or related certifications preferred
• Expertise in ArcGIS Suite and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Alteryx, and Microsoft Office Suite is highly preferred
