GIS Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the full-time remote GIS Engineer will design, implement, and maintain GIS solutions while collaborating with project teams and troubleshooting software applications.

Key responsibilities:

• Designs, develops, and maintains GIS solutions, ensuring integration and compatibility across platforms
• Consults with project teams and end users to identify application requirements and conducts feasibility analyses for future projects
• Acts as a team leader on projects, instructing and directing the development team while addressing software production problems

Required qualifications:

• ArcGIS experience required
• Strong knowledge of ESRI products and GIS databases
• Experience with GIS solution design and maintenance
• Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, and C#/.Net
• Ability to attain Federal Government Position of Trust and pass a background investigation
