GIS Engineer (Azure & ArcGIS)
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time GIS Engineer (Azure & ArcGIS) to provide on-call technical support for Azure cloud services and ArcGIS Enterprise architecture, while remotely diagnosing system performance issues, enhancing security compliance, and offering technical recommendations to improve geospatial system reliability and accessibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and remediate issues impacting system uptime, performance, or accessibility
- Support technical recommendations to improve system reliability, scalability, and security
- Provide specialized consulting services, including GIS technical direction and program management
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree
- 10 years of experience in GIS and Azure cloud services
- Expertise in ArcGIS Enterprise stack configuration and maintenance
- Knowledge of DOI cloud hosting requirements and FISMA Moderate compliance
- Experience with system performance diagnostics and troubleshooting in an Azure-hosted environment
