GIS Engineering Technician
Job Summary
A company is looking for a GIS Engineering Technician to support telecommunications infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain geospatial data for telecommunications infrastructure design and tracking
- Operate GIS hardware and software systems, including various Esri applications and AutoCAD
- Create and maintain web maps and mapping portals using ArcGIS Online and legacy systems
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of GIS experience, including collegiate and industry experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Geography, Engineering, Computer Science, Environmental Science, or related field
- Experience with ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Online
- Proficiency in Esri platform and related applications
- Knowledge of GIS and CAD software, including AutoCAD and open-source alternatives
