Job Summary
Supporting the design and tracking of telecommunications infrastructure projects, the full-time GIS Engineering Technician will manage geospatial data, produce mapping deliverables, and assist field and engineering teams using the ESRI platform and related tools while working onsite in the United States.
Key responsibilities
- Support data and mapping needs for telecommunications infrastructure design and tracking
- Operate GIS hardware and software systems, including ArcPro and ArcGIS Online, to gather and integrate geospatial data
- Create and maintain web maps and mapping portals using ArcGIS Online and legacy systems
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of GIS experience in collegiate and public/private industry settings
- Bachelor's Degree in Geography, Engineering, Computer Science, Environmental Science, or a related field
- Experience publishing with ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Online
- Proficiency in the use of the Esri platform and app suite
- Knowledge of GIS and CAD software, including AutoCAD and Microsoft Visio, is highly desirable
