GIS Fiber Mapping Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of GIS Fiber Mapping.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for fiber optic network construction projects using GIS software
• Manage and maintain geospatial data related to fiber route assets and support data transition into mapping software
• Collaborate with construction teams to ensure accurate mapping and support field personnel with training and documentation

Required Qualifications

• Experience designing fiber optic cable splicing and diagrams
• Proficient in ARC GIS Pro and understanding of outside plant facilities
• Ability to analyze geographic data for fiber network design
• Experience managing multiple priorities and working efficiently under pressure
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Outside Plant Fiber Optic Specialist are desirable
