Job Summary
Leading a complex, large-scale GIS Utility Network Model conversion project, the full-time remote GIS Project Manager will manage project initiation, planning, execution, and closure while coordinating with internal teams and third-party vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the successful initiation, planning, execution, control, implementation, and closure of a large, complex technology project
- Build and maintain an integrated, resource-loaded project schedule, tracking progress across multiple workstreams
- Manage vendor performance and contracts, ensuring delivery against specifications and schedule while applying project management methodologies
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of IT/Technology project management experience, with a preference for ten or more years
- Proven track record delivering complex, large-scale software technology projects from initiation through implementation and closeout
- Significant experience with COTS software installation, upgrade, or modernization projects and associated vendor management
- Experience leading projects through a Waterfall SDLC, including design, configuration, testing, and go-live
- Bachelor's degree preferred
