GIS Software Developer

Job Summary

As a full-time remote GIS Software Developer, the candidate will design, develop, and implement scalable geospatial solutions for utility clients, utilizing the Esri platform and Python to enhance GIS applications and support field operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain GIS-based applications using ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online
• Automate workflows and optimize data integration processes using Python and ETL pipelines
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to translate business needs into technical solutions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in GIS development or geospatial software development
• Proficiency in Python scripting and geospatial libraries such as ArcPy and ArcGIS API for Python
• Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, and geodatabase management
• Understanding of system integration concepts, including APIs and data exchange frameworks
