Job Summary
To support a large utility's GIS modernization program, the remote GIS Solution Architect will own the end-to-end design of the ArcGIS Utility Network solution, including data migration strategies, integration architecture, and application architecture while leading a team of GIS analysts and developers.
Key responsibilities
- Own the design of the ESRI ArcGIS Utility Network solution, including feature class schema and network topology validation standards
- Lead the migration architecture from SmallWorld to ESRI UN, ensuring data quality and establishing transformation logic
- Mentor junior GIS consultants and design training materials for client teams on ArcGIS Pro and integrated workflows
Required qualifications
- Ten (10)+ years of professional work experience in GIS
- Five (5)+ years of GIS consulting or utility GIS technical experience, specializing in ESRI ArcGIS for utilities
- Full-lifecycle experience with ESRI ArcGIS Utility Network implementations in a lead architect capacity
- Proficiency in ESRI UN configuration, including domain network creation and network rule configuration
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent relevant experience
