GIS Solution Architect
Job Summary
Providing technical leadership for project implementations, the full-time GIS Solution Architect will work remotely to manage GIS solutions for emergency communication agencies, optimizing workflows and ensuring data integrity within Next Generation Core Services (NGCS).
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as the GIS technical authority and primary technical counterpart during customer and vendor meetings
- Identify technical risks and create mitigation strategies in collaboration with Project Managers
- Provision and maintain spatial data for geospatial call routing in NGCS environments
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, Computer Science, Geography, Information Technology, or 6+ years of Enterprise GIS experience
- Advanced proficiency with the ESRI software ecosystem, including ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online
- Extensive understanding of Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1) and NENA standards
- Demonstrated proficiency in Python or other scripting languages for automation
- Must be able to obtain a background clearance as required by government customers
