GIS Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a GIS Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the Engineering team's GIS lead for all spatial data activities using the ESRI platform
• Import and manage KMZ, SHP, and GDB files into native ESRI environments, ensuring data consistency
• Develop and maintain custom dashboards and visualizations to support engineering and planning initiatives

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of GIS experience with a strong focus on the ESRI suite
• Experience with fiber network mapping and/or telecommunications infrastructure preferred
• Strong ability to import, convert, and maintain spatial datasets
• Proficiency in creating custom dashboards and map-based reports
• Familiarity with outside plant (OSP) construction terminology and workflows
