GIS Specialist
Job Summary
To support a growing fiber internet provider, the full-time remote GIS Specialist will manage the GIS ticket queue, ensure data accuracy in systems, and audit partner address releases to align with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the GIS ticket queue to resolve data issues and ensure accuracy in address information
- Add new addresses and maintain as-built records from construction into systems of record
- Audit partner address releases and produce reports to support internal stakeholders and FCC reporting
Required Qualifications
- Completed post-secondary education in Applied Geography, Geographic Information Systems, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of GIS/AutoCAD/Network documentation system experience
- 2+ years of demonstrated experience with spatial data, data entry, and conversion
- Familiarity with IQGeo and experience with SQL queries, especially PostGIS
- Industry and GIS/CAD specific certifications and training preferred
