GIS Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for a GIS Technician I.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter gas service record information into GIS systems from field redlined design drawings and work order information
• Verify quality and accuracy of gas services in GIS and update data and attributes as necessary
• Check specifications on graphic design and data fields, resolving issues to meet production goals

Required Qualifications

• Knowledge of GIS concepts and practices, particularly with ESRI ArcGIS
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Ability to work in a virtual/remote environment
• Willingness to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities
