GIS Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for a GIS Technician.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct GIS program activities using hardware and software to produce maps and spatial databases
• Assist in the development and management of GIS data, including creation, editing, and validation
• Perform spatial analysis and provide GIS support for projects under the direction of a Project Manager

Required Qualifications and Education

• Bachelor's degree in GIS or a related field
• Familiarity with Esri ArcGIS Desktop and/or Pro
• Experience working with GIS data within government applications
• Ability to perform basic operational functions and maintain data integrity
• Occasional travel may be required
