GIS Technician II

Job Summary

GIS Technician II provides technical support to land development and design teams by managing geospatial data, producing cartographic deliverables, and performing spatial analyses in a full-time role.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain GIS datasets and produce professional cartographic products
• Perform geospatial data editing, analysis, and quality control across multiple projects
• Support the development and maintenance of web-based GIS applications and provide training to junior staff

Required Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Environmental Science, Engineering Technology, or a related field
• 2+ years of professional GIS experience in a relevant environment
• Proficiency with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and Esri's geospatial tools
• Experience with data management, spatial analysis, and map design
• Familiarity with scripting (Python) and basic automation preferred
