GitHub Product Owner

Job Summary

Owning the end-to-end GitHub platform, the remote GitHub Product Owner will design repository standards, establish security controls, and evolve workflows while ensuring compliance with organizational requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design and govern the GitHub platform, including repository standards and integration architecture
• Establish enforceable standards for repository layout and developer workflows
• Continuously evolve platform standards and security controls in response to changing requirements

Required qualifications

• Minimum ten years of experience owning or architecting GitHub Enterprise platforms at an organizational scale
• Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field from an accredited college or university
• Strong background in DevSecOps and secure SDLC design
• Proven ability to design and govern security controls in a federated enterprise environment
• Excellent skills in producing standards and executive-level documentation
