GL Accountant

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the GL Accountant will manage financial transactions, maintain accounts receivable, and reconcile bank records for multiple client companies.

Key responsibilities:

• Record financial transactions in accounting systems and maintain accounts receivable aging reports
• Reconcile bank records to general ledger accounts and process online payroll transactions
• Prepare and review fixed assets and perform other accounting tasks as needed for clients

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience with hands-on involvement in month-end close activities
• Experience with QuickBooks Online or other cloud-based accounting systems
• Strong knowledge of accrual basis accounting, including payroll-related entries
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple clients and deadlines
