GL Accountant

Job Summary

Managing day-to-day GL accounting for multiple client entities, the full-time remote GL Accountant will record transactions, post journal entries, and maintain accurate books through month-end close.

Key responsibilities:

• Own day-to-day GL accounting across multiple client entities, ensuring accurate transaction recording and month-end close
• Post customer payments, maintain AR aging, and code vendor invoices for proper ledger accounts
• Reconcile bank accounts to the GL, process payroll-related transactions, and serve as a point of contact for clients

Required qualifications:

• 4+ years of full-cycle accounting experience, particularly in multi-entity or fractional accounting
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Demonstrated ownership of the full close cycle including AP, AR, and bank reconciliations
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online; experience with NetSuite or similar platforms is a plus
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while managing multiple priorities
