Global Automation Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Global Automation Engineer to lead the development and implementation of automation systems across manufacturing sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and standardize global automation best practices across all Critical Power sites
- Act as a liaison between regional teams and leadership to ensure consistent implementation of automation strategies
- Design and commission PLC, HMI, and SCADA-based automation systems for power distribution equipment manufacturing
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in industrial automation, with at least 3 years in a senior or global role
- Proven experience in designing and commissioning automation systems for manufacturing environments
- Proficiency in PLC programming and experience with SCADA/HMI platforms
- Strong understanding of power monitoring and control systems
