Job Summary
Seeking a highly motivated and experienced senior principal scientist, the full-time remote Global Biomarker Lead - Rare Disease will manage the development and execution of clinical biomarker strategies, oversee assay readiness and vendor management, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive precision medicine goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of program-specific clinical biomarker strategies to inform target engagement and patient selection
- Serve as a subject matter expert within product evidence generation teams to deliver high-quality biomarker datasets
- Interpret and communicate clinical biomarker findings to cross-functional stakeholders and external audiences
Required Qualifications:
- Doctorate degree in a bioscience or medical discipline and 3+ years of industry experience, or Master's degree with 6+ years, or Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience
- PhD in a relevant field preferred, with a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in industry
- Strong expertise in rare disease, autoimmunity, inflammation, and genomics
- Experience in developing and executing clinical biomarker strategies supporting cross-functional clinical study teams
- Proficiency in managing biomarker assay outsourcing processes with external vendors and CROs for clinical stage programs
