Job Summary
Leading a global sales team, the full-time salaried Global Commercial Sales Director will drive revenue growth, manage transformation from print to digital, and oversee the launch of new products while fostering a positive sales culture in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Direct and implement strategies for the global Commercial Sales program, focusing on innovation and revenue diversification
- Manage the full sales cycle, including budgeting, KPI accountability, and team performance across various regions
- Grow revenue by protecting existing customer bases and acquiring new clients, while successfully launching new products
Required qualifications
- Prior experience as a Commercial Sales Director or equivalent role
- Extensive experience in leading global Commercial Sales teams and delivering revenue growth in the publishing industry
- Demonstrable knowledge of non-subscription sales activities within the Medical/STM journal publication industry
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and sales forecasting
- Proven ability to manage teams across different time zones and drive accountability
