Global Controller
Job Summary
Leading a team of approximately seven, the full-time Global Controller will manage the monthly and quarterly close processes, oversee revenue accounting, and develop a control framework for a remote-first company focused on subscription and usage-based revenue.
Key responsibilities
- Lead monthly and quarterly financial close, ensuring timely and accurate US GAAP financials
- Own revenue accounting and serve as the technical authority on ASC 606 revenue recognition
- Build and maintain a control framework to keep financial books audit-ready in a global environment
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including team leadership
- Big 4 or equivalent public accounting foundation
- Deep knowledge of US GAAP, with expertise in subscription and usage-based revenue recognition
- Experience in automating accounting processes with measurable results
- Proven track record with external audits and maintaining audit-ready books
