Job Summary
Leading global employment tax operations, the full-time Global Employment Tax Specialist will ensure compliance for payroll, benefits, and statutory filings while serving as the main point of contact for audits and authority inquiries in a remote role.
Key responsibilities
- Manage global employment tax compliance, ensuring accurate and timely filings across all operating countries
- Serve as the primary contact for employment tax audits and inquiries, collaborating with various tax authorities to resolve issues
- Monitor changes in employment tax laws and implement necessary updates to payroll processes and controls
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in global employment tax and payroll compliance across multiple countries
- Experience with US and international employment tax rules, including fringe benefits and social security obligations
- Proven track record in leading employment tax audits and responding to tax notices from authorities
- Experience in managing global year-end reporting and statutory employment tax filings
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
