Global Engagement Consultant

Job Summary

Supporting Generation Unlimited's strategic initiatives, the remote Global Strategic Engagement Consultant will manage engagement with the Global Leadership Council and influential leaders to enhance employability and entrepreneurship for youth over a 12-month consultancy period.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a Membership Strategy & Roadmap for the Global Leadership Council to enhance membership engagement and value
• Facilitate dynamic engagement modalities and improve communication through newsletters and briefings to strengthen collaboration among members
• Project-manage key leadership events, including agenda design and logistics for Global Leadership Council meetings during significant global events

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in International Development, Social Sciences, or related fields
• A minimum of ten years of experience in strategic planning, coordination, advocacy, and event management
• Experience in programming and partnerships within multilateral organizations focused on education and youth skills
• Fluency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills; knowledge of another UN language is an asset
• Organizational, advocacy, and partnership management skills, along with event management expertise
