Job Summary
To support global gender equality and social inclusion initiatives, the remote Global GESI Consultant will conduct GESI analyses, develop strategies, and provide capacity-building training, collaborating closely with Mercy Corps teams across various programs.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct rapid GESI analyses and contribute to proposal development by integrating GESI considerations
- Design and deliver tailored GESI training materials and workshops for country and regional teams
- Develop GESI strategy documents and action plans, ensuring integration into program design and implementation
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in international development, gender studies, or a related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in gender equality and social inclusion-focused programs
- Proven track record in conducting GESI analyses for donor-funded programs
- Demonstrated experience in capacity strengthening for teams on GESI integration
- Fluent in English; proficiency in French, Spanish, Arabic, or Russian is preferred
