Global Head of Data Science

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Global Head of Data Science to provide leadership in clinical data management and biostatistics in a remote, executive-level role.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and lead a global data science strategy integrating data management, biostatistics, and statistical programming
• Drive innovation by translating advanced analytics and regulatory science into scalable solutions
• Act as a scientific partner to global clients, providing insights on study design and regulatory expectations
• Oversee global financial performance of the data science function, focusing on revenue growth and margin optimization
• Set governance standards to ensure compliance and proactive risk management

Required Qualifications

• Advanced degree (PhD, MD, MSc, or equivalent) in a quantitative discipline such as biostatistics or data science
• 12-18 years of leadership experience in a CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology environment
• Experience leading large, global data science or analytics organizations
• Proven P&L ownership and strong commercial acumen
• Extensive experience engaging with senior leadership and global health authorities
