Global Head of Data Science

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Global Head of Data Science to provide enterprise-wide leadership in the clinical research and life sciences industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and lead a global data science strategy integrating data management, biostatistics, and statistical programming
• Drive portfolio innovation by translating advanced analytics and emerging methodologies into market-ready solutions
• Act as an executive scientific partner to global clients, offering strategic insights on study design and regulatory expectations

Required Qualifications

• Advanced degree (PhD, MD, MSc, or equivalent) in a quantitative discipline such as biostatistics or data science
• 12-18 years of progressive leadership experience in a CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology environment
• Demonstrated success in leading large, global data science or analytics organizations
• Proven P&L ownership with strong commercial acumen
• Extensive experience engaging with senior leadership and global health authorities
